French is a Romance language that originated in France and is spoken by over 300 million people worldwide. It is the official language in several countries including France, Canada, and Haiti, and is also widely spoken in other countries such as Belgium, Switzerland, and parts of Africa. French is known for its complex grammar, elegant vocabulary, and rich literary tradition. It is considered one of the world's most widely spoken and taught languages and is commonly used in business, politics, and international relations. The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) defines the levels for French language proficiency as A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1, C2. and the corresponding exams are Delf A1, Delf A2, Delf B1, Delf B2 respectively.
The French A2 Exam, also known as the "Delf A2" exam, is a standardized test that assesses an individual's proficiency in the French language at the A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The A2 level is considered the elementary level of language proficiency, and is intended for those who have a basic knowledge of the French language. The exam tests an individual's ability to understand and use French grammar and vocabulary in a variety of everyday situations. The test includes a listening comprehension, reading comprehension, and writing components, as well as an oral interview. The French A2 Exam is typically administered by the International Centre for French Studies (CIEP) and it is recognized by many French universities and employers as proof of language proficiency. The French A2 Exam covers the language skills that are used for basic communication and self-expression in everyday situations.
I recommend this course to anyone who is serious about learning french. It is so well taught - interesting, interactive and engaging - and covers the relevant subjects in enough detail for you to understand and use what you have learnt. It's not easy doing on-line e-courses but the teacher makes you feel as if you are almost in a real lesson having a one-to-one class with him. There is an opportunity to ask questions which are answered promptly but there isn't a need to ask many as everything is explained clearly. I recommend taking the time to complete the additional exercises and learn the vocabulary etc. as this will help you to move on to the next level.
