Course description

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a standardized test that measures the English language proficiency of non-native speakers. The test is designed to assess the ability of a person to communicate in English in real-life situations and is widely recognized by universities, employers, and government agencies around the world. The IELTS exam has two versions: Academic and General Training. The Academic version is intended for test-takers who wish to study at the undergraduate or postgraduate level in an English-speaking country, while the General Training version is intended for test-takers who wish to migrate to an English-speaking country or who need to take the test for other professional or vocational reasons.

The IELTS test is divided into four sections: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. The test takes 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete. The Listening and Reading sections are completed in one sitting, while the Writing and Speaking sections are completed on different days. The test is scored on a scale of 0-9, with 9 being the highest score. The scores are used to determine the test-taker's level of English proficiency, with each band representing a different level of proficiency. It is widely accepted in many countries like US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and also by many universities worldwide
