Italian is a Romance language spoken primarily in Italy, but also spoken by Italian expatriates and their descendants around the world. It is the official language of Italy, and is also spoken in Switzerland and Vatican City. Italian is known for its beautiful and melodic sound, as well as its rich literary tradition. It features a relatively simple grammar and a vocabulary that has been heavily influenced by Latin and other languages. Italian is also known for its regional dialects, which can vary greatly from one region to another. It's widely used in business, politics, international relations and arts. Italian is studied as a second language in many universities and language schools around the world. The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) only recognizes six levels of language proficiency: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2.
The Italian A2 Exam is a standardized test that assesses an individual's proficiency in the Italian language at the A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The A2 level is considered the basic level of language proficiency and is intended for those who have a limited knowledge of the Italian language. The exam tests an individual's ability to understand and use basic Italian grammar and vocabulary in a variety of situations. The test may include a listening comprehension, reading comprehension, and writing components, as well as an oral interview. The Italian A2 Exam is typically administered by organizations such as the Società Dante Alighieri, or the Università per Stranieri di Siena. It is not widely recognized by universities or employers as proof of language proficiency. The Italian A2 Exam covers the language skills that are used for basic communication and self-expression in everyday situations and in various contexts, it is designed for people who have already mastered the basics of the language and want to improve their skills.
I like the course! I already have some very basics of Italian, but took it to refresh my memory and it works wonders. The explanations are clear, it's easy to follow, it has a good structure and it's not boring. Excellent fit for my learning style - English explanation, well designed i.e. even with alphabet = an opportunity to highlight miscellaneous relevant items with each word. Well thought out and clarifying.
